I had an operation here, was treated for gallbladder surgery. Prior to surgery had my blood taken by staff that were busy talking to each other and hardly acknowledged me. I was left with a huge swelling on my arm and bruising, no pressure was applied after the blood was taken and was not checked. A plaster was just placed on. On the morning of my op it was discussed in front of me on two occasions that they did not have my blood results. As i was about to have surgery. Like it wasn't stressful enough. I was advised that i would be staying over, however when i pointed this out to them it was met with contempt, as they wanted me to go home the same day. I’m a single mum with two teens that could not watch me through the night. The evening nurse that was taking care of me was very rude. Hardly engaged in conversation and had no people skills. I was left in bloody clothes, and had to ask for someone to look at my dressings. I was told i would be provided with another gown and they’d change my dressing. Nobody did this. The following day a nurse came the first thing he said was have they told you what time you are leaving. He then told me i could get showered a d dressed.I felt so unwelcome. The surgeon visited me the day of the surgery. He told me he’d come back then next day. and told me they saw blood in my stomach. He did not turn up, so i asked the nurse and she told me they don't come back. So i was left to worry about the blood in my stomach. She told je i could wait or go home. So i said i’d wait, which she seemed disappointed about. She then came in with another surgeon that stated i was fine and i could go home. Again pushing me to leave. She came back and said i could go when id ate my lunch.i didn't even bother i just packed my things and asked to leave. I read in the leaflet they gave ms i was meant to keep my surgical socks on for a few days. At no point was this mentioned to me when i was told to get dressed. Only saw this when i got home. At this point they were in the hospital bin. Recently they contacted me for an endoscopy, i asked to go to a normal NHS hospital.

I attended this hospital as a day case, it was my first time at this hospital but the staff were great and I felt confident that all would go well. They explained what would happen during my time there and were all very polite and treated you as an individual. If you didn’t understand they were good enough to explain again. If I ever had to have another operation (hopefully not) I would go here again. Thanks to all the staff you were great.

It was a privilege to have been in the care of this hospital. The communication was excellent throughout all of my visits, finding the staff polite helpful and cheerful. Covid restrictions were visibly being very well managed under difficult circumstances. The stay, treatment and care I received were exemplary. If there was any slight negative it would be the length of time to get discharged which was 12hrs after arriving but I would find it hard to call it a criticism, more frustration as I'd travelled a fair distance but appreciated this surgery was offered as alternative to a lengthy wait nearer to home.

I attended the hospital on the 27th January for a C T scan of my kidneys and bladder. I was treated very well. I have one suggestion which is. The treatment required activating my bladder to such an extent that was great difficulty controlling my bladder for a quite a while after"and had to stop the car halfway home My suggestion is that the patient be advised to bring a suitable container

This care I received at the Park was second to none, even the food was great. My package included all pre op testing and post op care. To date I've seen the physio 3 times since my op for total knee replacement & I'm certain the advice I received has greatly aided my recovery. Six weeks after the op I'm now walking about 2 pain free miles most days. I would highly recommend this hospital.

I have been to the Park on three occasions twice for surgery. I couldn't have been treated any better anywhere. I was made comfortable and looked after as an individual not on a ward .The hospital is spotless and everyone is so caring and polite After my ops both done by Mr Mersich who is an excellent surgeon by the way. I was given excellent aftercare the best I have received anywhere nothing is to much trouble. I am going again soon for more treatment and know I will be very well looked after . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hospital to anyone. They are the best. Thank you
